Joy Styles is an amazing individual who has overcome a great many trials in her life. She is an inspiration to all who have come to know her, and is loved by so many whose lives she has touched. Joy was diagnosed with ALS in the fall of 2009 and has been faced with the challenges that affect those who have this debilitating disease. However, in typical Joy style, she has chosen to embrace life and maintain hope for a future without ALS.
Since her diagnosis, Joy has jumped out of a plane, flown through the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, sold the condo and is off to Australia for seven weeks. When she returns, she and Carl, their daughter Lauren and her husband Gil will be living in Mexico, enjoying the sea and the sun living each day to its fullest.
